CBC HVAC Schedule is a private building-management application used by Central Baptist Church to manage heating and air-conditioning equipment through Home Assistant and Google Nest.

Information Accessed

With authorization from the Google account holder, the application may access:

  • Google Nest thermostat names, settings, temperatures, operating modes, and device status.

  • Google Nest device and home information necessary to identify and control authorized thermostats.

  • Google account authorization information required to maintain the connection.

How Information Is Used

Information is used exclusively to monitor and control authorized church HVAC equipment, including scheduling occupied and unoccupied temperature settings.

The application is not intended for public use, advertising, or marketing.

Information Storage and Sharing

Home Assistant operates on a computer managed by Central Baptist Church. Authentication credentials and operational information may be stored within that system.

Information is exchanged with Google services as necessary for the authorized integration. Central Baptist Church does not sell personal information or use Google Nest information for advertising.

Security and Access

Access to the application is restricted to authorized individuals responsible for managing the church's HVAC systems.

Revoking Access and Data Deletion

Google account permissions may be revoked through the Google Account security settings. Authorized church personnel may request removal of locally stored application information, subject to operational and legal requirements.
